Usually I feel when the illustrator switches to color something is lost in the art, but the use of color in this particular chapter really elevated the content. The switch to color when the music begins is just a powerful story telling tool to illustrate emotion. All the previous instance of color felt arbitrary or simply made because that particular scene would look cool. It didn’t feel connected to the story in that regard.
