The author is rather sociopathic with the way he is writing the characters. The MC has no emotions other than lust/”love”, aka 1 dimensional self-insert. The chancellor, who is still enslaving his classmates, gets a pass because he isn’t personally hurting the MC. The waifu is also a sociopath, who only cares for self-preservation (and s*x?)
I don’t care if the MC had bad relationships with all his classmates, but at least make him demand better accommodations, living conditions and money, to show that he has some wants/needs other than s*x and a private room. Why still have the waifu work as a maid when there is a chance that a prince may cause a nuke to go off in that capital, by touching what isn’t his? Nothing makes sense, it is grade-A slop content, but it isnt boring for now..
So long as he doesn’t push the MC or his wife farther than they’re willing to go, I think we’re supposed to just tolerate the chancellor.
