Oof that reset is really forced.
Original premise:
MC is the saintess but the position is stolen from her. Now she must work to get it back because [reason].
Since the original antagonist was defeated and she reached her status as saint, it needed to be reset to start over.
And here we are now. And if the series runs long enough there will be a 3rd time. And so on.
What is with these people? 🤦
Nawp, purest BS, I would have been on my cat and bee-lining it past the border into the hinterlands the frikkin SECOND I sensed that crapstorm brewing. She went up a gazillion lvls as well, but hasn’t even explored the new depths of her powers before the let her husband waltz her off to that cesspool.
