“all he got”… really. If you’re the only one with a status screen that’s already a huge buff if there’s no negative effects holding you down. Even if you start as a completely average human, if the system doesn’t block you off of something unless you’re born with it then seeing how exactly you are growing gives you so much.
If I could choose between getting a status screen or inventory I’d go for status screen every time.

This was a rare gem. The magic system is interesting and a little mysterious, MC grows fast but isn’t actually OP, side characters are fun and sensible. MC acts logically except when his cynicism from his first life makes him cranky. Art is mostly fine and then sometimes much better. There are mysteries and a multi-layered world and reasons for the way things are. Strong recommend!

Summary: Salaryman isekai without cheat powers, works to figure out his new world and become strong. Lots of teasers for deeper stories with some payoff.

So this manga is one of my new favorites. The only thing about it is it doesn’t update frequently. MC is a middle-aged office worker who transmigrated to a fantasy world as a thirteen year old. The leveling system is pretty cool and makes sense. Aside from the comment below about it being a shota manga ( Which I disagree with, no love interests so far ), he seems to just want to level up and survive. I have high hopes for this one. So far… so good.

This manga has a very promising start, MC is no OP with some bullshit skill and actually needs to use his brain to progress and move forward, looking forward to see how it develops.
