I’m not sure he’d get the death sentence, but his place as first prince will likely be over. The royal family does everyone maintain friendly relations with the Lombardi, can’t have a future king outwardly hostile to them.
Not sure how anyone could be close enough to stop the prince though. I’d laugh if the dad just struck him with an ornament across the room giving them time to reach and subdue him.
