Instead of giving this a satisfying ending they opted to reset the story in another kingdom with new characters. Lame. I hate when authors do this just to drag out revenue on successful Manga. Just write another story with new characters!

honestly, this arc makes zero sense whatsoever. He pretended to be under mind magic, specifically of his memories of Alicia being erased, for what purpose exactly? to make sure her criminal status is firmly and irrevocably established in the mind of the public? so she could be exiled for absolutely no reason? If she wanted to visit laverl, or whatever that nation is called, she literally could have just gone. they were graduating that year anyways, what’s the point of all this subterfuge BS?
