I dunno if monitoring is an act of villainy. Like if it’s proven that she can go beserk, having someone who is as powerful and potentially help stop her when she does isn’t an evil action. Nor is “helping her become a full-fledged saintess”.
It’s been awhile since I read this (and I just went back to this chapter, to remember what’s happened). But does anyone know whether the heretic/saint is some a different understanding/misunderstanding of words like saint and heretic? Or is it some translation issue (E.G. there is no good translation, or the translator doesn’t know of one)?
