I feel like kid him kept rejecting the adoption because he wanted his brother to get him, but he never did. I hope he gives the childhood he didn’t get to live with the older brother. Maybe it might help him heal too, seeing the kid him blissfully unaware but still getting the happy ending and living with the brother
If mc had an older brother, it would mean the name little mc has been writing on the sand was actually his brother’s, and made it his name after finally accepting hong’s insistence to be his kid. It makes most sense if mc really had a brother he most likely forgot after waiting so long, because how else would his past self react to a stranger who looks like him, knows his name (assuming others don’t), and plays the part of ‘brothers-finally-reunited’? But then, what happened to mc’s brother?
Also how did his past self just go with it? And why that name? ILROK? It’s all so sad. Will he ever tell his father the truth? Wow.
