What’s the point in having full armour that covers all your nooks and crannies, but a Judge Dredd helmet that only protects half of your face ?
Of course they’d fight back you buffoon.
You show up out of nowhere, summarily judge without investigating or weighing anything about your surroundings, only with what you witness at a glance, threaten students who are victims of the thing you’re holding in that jar with violence and death simply for being there…
They’re not hostile toward the kingdom, just you. In their shoes, I’d sooner kill you and take my chances with the next Paladin who comes knocking. Small wonder you’re just ranked 12th. Assuming this kingdom isn’t rotten, you’re too stupidly full of yourself to be ranked at any position of greater authority.
They’ve carefully weighed their choice. Perhaps you should have done the same.
I sometimes hate when the villain doesn’t just explain why someone is a threat to the kingdom etc if you really believe your saving everyone just say hey she an avenger level threat because______________ insert reason and let them weight the option or come up with an alternative solution you didn’t think of.
