This is how it feels to live in not the USA and watch a show set in an “American High School”. The weird assumptions gradually become familiar enough that you would be shocked to discover that none of it is real. I mean, there are lockers in the hallways and bells to tell when classes start, but none of the characters nor their actions would ever be observed in a real school.
