Why so much dislike for the stepmother?
The mc said that the unsuspecting Haewon loved her stepmother.
That means that even though she was competition for her son, she still treated her well.
The poison she was given wasn’t deadly or dangerous either. It just robbed her of the ability to manipulate Ki.
If you compare her to other stepmothers in fantasy manwahs, she was a really good one.
I thought Moyong clan would use her death as an excuse
I mean Im not super liberal or anything, but the main evil seems to be the discrimination of not allowing talents to flourish, particularly womens talents. But the worst part is that they recognize that a girl has talent but forces into a little box of what she is allowed to be good at.
That quick death is more than she deserved.
