I guess, when a person so powerful goes paranoid about the safety of humanity, it deletes everything that’s a threat. Kinda like an AI core programming, If the AI realizes humanity is a threat to themselves, it destroys most of the humanity, just leave some of them to not be extinct and repopulate again.
