She was probably just protecting her younger sister.
I believe she knew that if she also used magic, people would also take her magic away, just like they did with the princess.

She better give Rabbi a proper apology now that she’s been called out on having her memories. If she doesn’t, she deserves to have all her memories wiped for real.
