So.. what happened to his parents?
even if you leav your child to be mentored by someone else you’d still visit or have them visit you now and then (one would hope at least).
MC didn’t go home to his parents when he left the house in the woods .

Yep, worst mentor is the year.
Also… since there is a flashback of the M being 7 and already knowing that mentor, does that mean he’s only 14 years old right now? Really?
As for alchemic talent… uh… compared to that mentor the MC is pretty average, I’d say… she’s the abnormal one.
And of course, she deserves to get stuck in an ants nest for her horrible character alone.
