“Transed at birth to get untransed later” storylines normally bug me, but this one doesn’t. They’re respecting and trying to determine Yu’s personal wishes with regards to gender, and acknowledging actual trans people. I love this manga.

Great, shoe-horned in transgenderism plot. I don’t like it, but the story of this manga in general is still good, and they are certainly handling it better than some other anime/mangas I’ve heard about. Maybe “Tacked-On” would be a better term than “Shoe-Horned”.
