I don’t know why mc doesn’t tell the emperor the Duke was behind it, his brother destroyed the evidence, and his brother has been the one hiring the revolutionary Army to try to kill him.
The Duke and Cruel have connections to two factions that want to take down the emperor, they’re clearly traitors.
