Because Deon is so “lucky” I wouldn’t be surprised if he ended up becoming the emperor and the demon king at the same time
turns out Ed is in a relationship with the girl but has to keep it a secret.
My guess so far: Deon is being set up to be the replacement demon king if the real one dies, and the demon king is aiding the duke so that when the war gets nasty, the duke will turn on the emperor, and when that happens, he will oust the duke as working with the demon king causing a massive anarchy in the human world.
Unfortunately, this deon will snap, and unadulterated glorious bloodshed will occur.

First off, I love it when the Demon King or Ed is drawn Chibi, I can’t get enough of it. Second, ever notice the Demon King is in the exact same freaking outfit ever single time you see him? Do we just happen to only see him on screen when he’s wearing that one? Is his whole wardrobe just a bunch of that one outfit???
