I’m sure there are very few people who could assassinate him even in his sleep. This feels like op isekai but like it actually feels deserved and not forced, loving it.
Assassination? After what he just accomplished and personally participating in the subjugation of a chemically doped up pirate lord whom elite soldiers couldn’t even take down? Lotsa luck with that.
Given enough time, and enough reasons to piss him off while not providing him with any benefits in return, he probably has the personal ability to politically take over the whole empire if he wanted to.
