quit the receptionist job the day before the festival and get rehired after, with how understaffed the guild is there’s no way she’ll not get rehired.
Also, any adventurer who’s after the rumour, degrade them a few ranks to work themselves up again for being naive fuckups, a “dimwit penalty” if you wish.
