Rule No. 2 – Nuke from orbit. Probably would have the same results. But I imagine that coming back from being thoroughly irradiated would’ve at least put the fear of God in him.

I dont see a problem in this why the guy is still alive. First of it was created dungeon as not the main dungeon. When mc have protection charm for instant kill then the other guy can also have a lot of things to prevent him to die. He have been dungeon master for 100 years to learn all the secrets and everything that comes with it. Being trough all sorts of threats in 100 years. Just think of the human population there be more powerful people who have tried to take control or eliminate the dungeon masters.
