Infinite Skill Getter - Chapter 1
Comments for chapter "Chapter 1"
“For this chess board you have made for me, I shall pay you a sack of rice.”
“Rather than a sack of rice my lord, pay me for each square but a single grain of rice doubling for each.”
“Then you shall receive very little rice! Are you quite sure?”
“Yes, my lord. For I shall have all the rice I could ever want.”
as i math nerd i knew right away how big those xp numbers will get if he lives very long.
[Payout on month n] = 2^(n-1)
[Total payout as of month n] = 2^(n) – 1
Just makes me curious on if the god realized he was being played so hard. For reference the original gods plan is better than his up to month 24 where he would be 24mil vs 16mil, but then any thing over 25th month gets crazy cause the total would be 25mil vs 33.5 mil. And then it starts going HARD!
Like i just like imagining the god in 10 years (n=120) looking all dried up raison style paying out 664,600,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000 xp [for the month] instead of 1,000,000 xp [120mil total] like he originally planned
Then again… the god might do like a mad DM who’s sick of the party “Rocks fall out of the sky and crush you to death, game over. Now get out of my moms basement!”
This seems interesting
1st year is equal to 2^12 = 4096
2nd year……. is equal to 2^24 = 16,777,216
3rd year ……………. is equal to 2^36 = 68,719,476,736
In the long run his request might be very good. But it would have been much better to take the million per month. He could run into life threatening enemies before he is able to become stronger.
Ain’t no way a kid tricks God into giving him functionally infinite EXP.
If you take the average life expectancy for a human male, which is 73 years old, and subtract 15 from that which is his current age, then you will get 58. There are 596 months in 58 years so if you start at 2, then you will have 2^595, which comes out to be an insane amount of experience amounting to a whopping total of 164,379,246,923,386,672,101,280,933,840,004,020,798,448,118,838,224,183,109,321,278,220,897,879,821,783,775,691,052,079,258,674,639,100,843,217,776,755,569,303,531,857,257,818,243,870,722,744,211,582,871,276,561,100,739,722,763,893,693,489,492,433,885,084,914,727,914,116,743,168 experience points. I don’t even know how to pronounce that number but it is huge.
….. And you think you’ll live for how long exactly? If you’re 15 and you’ll live till 60…
well apparently even in geometric sequence… 540 months get you that E number that I don’t understand because my math is basic… But that’s a lot… So the god is already stupid to say a million each month and that MC is even crazier to want exp to be in geometric sequence… Also a year only has 12 months… If 1 is the first month then 2048 is the 12 and not 4096… Unless I can’t even count months… And even in total it’s 4149…
why am I doing math? I hate math…
Oh-ho-hooo! Smart move! Really a smart move kiddo!
It starts out slow, but after a while it gets better and better. You’d get a million a month, which would be 12 mils a year and in 10 years it will be 1,2 billion, but with doubling it per month, in just 3 years you’ll be earning 34 billions, which still gets doubled every month. In 10 years, he’ll become a god…
New chapter?
this made me so happy and i m grateful cause it reminded me of my dad who passed last year he used to tell me some fable about getting paid a penny by a king and doubling it everyday and in a month or so the man was rich.
He’s just squaring away his future. ;3
Looking forward to this series.
x2 every Month…
Not bad
oh GOD compounding interest HE WE GO!!!!!!

Shame he didn’t ask for double exp every week, but this is fine too.
