what I don’t get is why everyone still likes his father; he ran off with a woman after abandoning his child with his family never to be heard from again, he might even be dead. It’s obvious he doesn’t care about his son so why do they act like the father is an important part of their lives, if he cared about his familial relations, he wouldn’t have left his son with his family and run away from his problems and family’s disapproval but instead faced them head on.
