I assume the artifact gets stronger as it gets used. This resulted in it taking control of the secret realm, resulting in it using its time reverse on the whole area. This will be an interesting one. Reminds me of that one Manhwa where MC regressed with levels and whatnot. Blue hair and a scar on his nose. At some point, to pass a trial to gain enlightenment, there was a whole chapter of him fighting himself at different stages of his life, and they slowly got stronger and smarter. At some point they brought us to the perspective of a clone and he was thinking “These clones are getting stronger and stronger. They’re about to catch up to my own strength. But it doesnt matter, bc I’m the real one.”
Like 10 panels of him slaughtering his clones then REAL MC pops up behind him and decapitated him and he’s like “Huh..?” And we all get confused then perspective is swapped back to MC.
Reminds me of when we found out Orihime Inoue’s Soten Kisshun didn’t actually heal, but rather reversed time on injuries to make it as if they had never happened.
