The true rate of human habitable planets in real life is… Soooo much lower than the blissfully (And at times willfully) ignorant people would like to believe, or than the supposedly unbiased scientific community would claim to accurately report.
Granted, this is fiction. There’s certainly room to say that this fictional world is very different.

Hold on hold on. These numbers arent making sense. 60 billion people? on 1300 planets? thats 49 million people per planet. I promise that humanity would not be struggling to supply the population with those kinds of numbers.
