An author from a country that has beef with China portrays China “negatively” in his work, readers the most affected (and surprised)!

I’m pretty sure they are just trying to make it match “Murim” as depicted in many Korean novels.

You lot are mad bc China isn’t a op country in most modern monster hunter stories there are always op hunters from China yet u lot get mad when they aren’t the same as other stories. Btw China is such a big country it would be easy for monsters to destroy certain parts of it.

I feel like the author has too much of a bias against China especially if South Korea, a country near China, is somehow still in the modern age and when it is in most aspects much weaker than China before these monster appeared.

I’m assuming, and we’ll probably know more in later chapters, that this section of China got decimated by the monsters, no one helped them, couldn’t escape, whatever, and a group of people created a Murim system after the power they’ve received. So not all of China is like that, he did decline a call from a Chinese number.

Apparently the author really hates China, I’m ashamed to wonder how Africa would look if China progressed back to a murim world

I get it that China is not cool, and all that stuff, but saying that after 1000 years they did not develop technologically is kinda stupid
