oh now I remember I have indeed read this. Also i’ve come to realize that it’s a very common trope in fantasy mangas / anime to have a strong woman, short hair, genius but very young who is very stupid. Like this girl and Hinata from Tensei slime. Easily manipulated to attack the mc
I feel…like I know less now than I did in the first chapter. I’m following this, but at the same time I have no idea what’s happening or why.

That evil-looking magician is playing her perfectly. She announced her suspicions and demanded the heroes friend be arrested, only for that same person to vanish the next morning. Even if she tries to deny it, to claim that he escaped with magic or that he was kidnapped, everyone would’ve seen the eruption of white flames, her signature spell.
But from her actions so far, she’d probably feel a swell of pride as she saw his ashes scatter on the wind, convinced she can do no wrong. I’m looking forward to seeing her in manacles next chapter.
I guess he isnt from earth then. Unless there is magic on earth but its very secrative.
Oh, and the way he said he’s peerless after he discovered barrier magic is unknown… that was priceless :lolchik:
