Terrible adaptation.
Suimei smiles too much.
In the novel, the best Suimei could do was half a smile.
Art-style is mediocre.
The first time Suimei even acknowledged her was in his adventurer arc.
It seems that the target audience of this adaptation are elementary schoolers, whereas the target audience of the novel are young adults.
I absolutely understand why the comments do not like this manga.
I assure you, guys, the novel is better.

Maybe it’s that the magic system is so boring or the fact that they essentially explained nothing about it, but this seems really uninteresting. I feel like this might be a power trip series, like the writer wanted a self insert where he’s really powerful and decided to write in enough fantasy babble to explain things away. The disappointing part is that it’s not even good fantasy babble. It doesn’t seem to have any actual thought put into it. All it does now is serve to make the readers confused.
