I absolutely object to the punishing of the craftsman. First, we don’t know exactly what he did, but fairly sure he only looked at Roxanne, not touched or harassed, which would justify some punishment. Second, Roxanne came with a low-cut blouse to show off the amber necklace by nestling it on her boobs. Then they act mortally offended that he looked at what they asked him to look at.

This is just a straight-up extortion scheme, and Roxy and Sherry are a couple of gangsters. There is literally no difference between this and demanding payments for not burning his store down or breaking his legs.

To be fair, MC hasn’t been bothered about morals at any point during the story. He killed the bandits because they were worth money and because nobody would object, not because he cares about justice. He uses his “discount” skill to rip off everybody he does business with, and the morality of slavery doesn’t seem to bother him. He’s down for whatever he can get away with, a true pirate.
