We got the Mountain Elves making something odd and possibly bizarre again, as Lu is making her husband a Stove, an extremely expensive stove, but one that is likely to be useful for now.

Ok, I lived for a while in a stationary mobile home, and I now live in a big camping-car (aka camper van in USA).
There is a major reason while water storages are at the bottom, NOT at the top: center of gravity.
While moving, any vehicle with an elevated center of gravity will be unstable, and prone to fall sideways; that is also the reason for a boat’s keel.
