don’t they have monetary currency already from trading? If so, then having that currency would be an easy transition.
The distribution of medals would also beat its purpose to stop people from coming to him since he has to give it to them now.

Thats not how currency works.
And since everyone already magically does what the mc wants, without anyone disagreeing, fair and good communism could actually work. Everything belongs to everyone so no need to trade since they’ll distribute everything fair and square.
