Vivian is weird and incongruous in this manga. She shows up out of nowhere, has no ambitions, and keeps handing him sex stuff, and doesn’t seem to be interested in him for herself. Is one of the gods sending her to try to push Takumi to get his mack on?

Again he lets the kids do whatever they want… I’m telling you, if the author has any sense then this pathetic excuse for parenting should be punished at some point in the story.
The MC also needs to realize he isn’t responsible for handling every problem all of the time wherever he goes. It isn’t good for him, the kids, or the people of that area.
In this case he is also dragging his two friends into the situation when they weren’t supposed to be.
Yes there is more risk if he doesn’t help, but if he always helps the people will become less prepared for the next time when he isn’t there.
He could always just act as a healer after the fact if he still wants to be involved.
