Seeing as everything is happening differently and people are behaving different compared to their novel counterparts. It probably means that either the novel is written from a different point of view, our mc has a false memory about it or Luca is going through regression every time he gets to the end which would explain his suspicious and cold behaviour but also doesn’t explain the behaviour of other characters.
