I just realized, that Suiboku was actually a villain that have repented. Fukei being his senior disciple was trying to end his villainous way, but didn’t managed to see that Suiboku already change to be a better person / sage than he was ever before.

It’s not sad. We don’t have any reason to care about either of these muscleheads, and they are supposed to be throwing terrifying planet destroying power at each other, but some people are watching from across the street unbothered. This is terrible writing and it points out that you should not be even slightly invested in all the meaningless swooshy punching.
