So the recurring trend since part 7 is Fortune/Misfortune. A Holy Corpse that promises 1000 years of Fortune to one nation at the cost of everyone else to whoever can possess it, but ultimately goes to no one in the end.
A magical fruit that grants the Fortune of restored body parts at the cost of another part of your body as equivalent exchange, but there was a limited supply of it to boot, and the misfortune that came with pursuing it and even the individual who highly sought after it left only bad memories in its wake.
Now we’ve got a Lava Rock. Not just any Lava Rock, but one that draws in Fortune. The strange nature of this rock isn’t as fascinating so much as how many bodies will be laid to claim it. How many misfortunes will be inflicted on both sides?
Guess we’re about to find out.
