Gege is building up Kusakabe as a very strong but unassuming sorcerer and I was getting hyped, until I recalled how Gojo was also built up throughout the series and even during his fight with Sukuna but then it turns out Sukuna was just toying with him the whole time.. I don’t like it when audience is being trolled too much.

You guy’s really need to start reading my comments because it’s getting exhausting now haha.
Sukuna is into it now and seeing as how Gege based Sukuna on Grimmjow and demanded the same VA for Sukuna and was very particular about who voiced who. I don’t think it’s a coincidence that Kusakabe’s VA is the same as Urahara Kisuke. This entire chapter is to prepare you for Kuskabe blowing all our collective tits clean off. Gege know’s what they’re doing.
He’s kinda like king in one punch man, no way he’s dying he’s got this luck, probably the only side character that’s not gonna die.
