Why do these writers always use “hierarchy” to justify “insecurities”? This whole setup is just idiotic. It could be interesting to see how a person becoming a mutant would be trying to survive/hide/thrive in society and the consequences, but the whole interesting part was skipped over in like 4 panels. What utter nonsense

Dragonflies are harmless. Their favorite food is mosquito. They can hunt mosquitoes more than you can ever think.

Really? attacking in a crowded place where your identity gets exposed immediately. Since the praying mantis guy can talk I assume he still has some intelligence left, so why would he take the risk of mass murder in broad daylight only to get an organized manhunt on his ass.
I mean, It seemed to me that the majority of his body is still made out of flesh so bullets can kill him.
Insecurities. Pah! MC has insecturities!
I reiterate my point I made 2 years ago:
The poison in bug spray can, and will kill you!
It is a potent neurotoxin. It has to be, since bugs are pretty resilient and got resistances.
If your using off shelf insecticides and feel a tingle call emergency! If you delay that even minutes, your close ones need to call an undertaker.

My intrusive thoughts on chap 1:
Bro MC is spider-man but actually dragonfly-man (wings look like dragon fly)
can’t he just cut off the wings?
folding them seems painful. (Ik that cutting them would prob be more painful but it would be a one and done thing)
wtf is jungle juice.
Is it like a government experiment to produce superhumans?
what happened to the company that made it? are all the consumers being monitored in an experiment?
tho who tf would think that it was a good idea to sell it to the public, instead of a controlled trial? (voluntary or not, idc)
does normal bug spray work on the human bugs? how much of human physiology has been converted to insect? rn we can only see that features have been added such as the wings on MC, or the antenna on the girl at the end. but also that limbs can also be transformed in the case of the mantis guy. Would guns be an effective countermeasure? the chitin exoskeleton does not cover most of their skin, is their uncovered skin durable? the mantis guy alluded that bug-people are more resistant but how much tho? what caliber is needed to penetrate the exoskeleton?
So many tests so little time… 
dragon flys are also predators, they eat mosquitos. why is MC not wanting to eat bugs too?
