I knew since the invasions of Nest that Professor Ma was behind this. He was suspicious at first, but if this doesn’t scream “Hey it was me all along” then idk what else will. He was the only Professor unharmed during the raids and only seemed to want information rather than to help. Seems the true colors of Nest is being shown.

I mean I don’t think anyone actually trusted Ma. He’s been super suspicious since pretty much the start of the story. That being said, Pet Shop obviously takes priority, since they’re right about to plunge the whole world into chaos, which will cause hundreds of millions, maybe even billions of death.
