So Breeder was more than just a test subject, he was also involved from the very start of Ma’s project, even before Davidson took over development. Guess that makes Seyoung and the rest of his original team some of the earliest of the successful hybrids. If only he’d known how twisted Breeder was from the outset, maybe things could’ve been different. But what happened happened, and I suppose it’ll be clear soon enough just what Ma did to him after finding out about his psychosis and lack of anything considered basic ethics.
If there’s just one thing that bugs me (unintentional pun until I wrote it), it’s how Breeder was able to interpret the diagrams from Ma’s team with no prior training beyond elementary level education (which itself was probably as short lived as the classmates he drowned). But I suppose it was necessary for the plot point concerning his involvement with the original Baltic team, since he would’ve just been another of the many poor bastards that were mutated and left to die otherwise.
