Jungle Juice - Chapter 180

Looks like Suchan’s friends are finally getting a much needed upgrade here just before the endgame starts, feels good to see their training start after last time’s cliffhanger. Dohwa might need to try a bit harder though, facing what amounts to a female Gaara’s gonna require more than just brute strength alone, especially when Ara’s able to build her constructs so damn fast. It’ll be a tough pill for her to swallow given her disgust for said constructs and her stubborn nature, but she can’t afford to be careless now. Guess it’ll have to wait until the next chapter to see what she’ll do to adapt.

If anything it’s good to see Hyeseong in particular start to see some real progress, and more importantly to finally start using his monstrous leg strength properly. Talk about one hell of a confidence booster after his lackluster attempts in the past and inferiority complex. Yuseong’s probably smiling from the grave to see a fellow melee monster in the making. Still think he was killed off too soon, even if he did serve as the perfect benchmark to show just how dangerous Breeder himself is after he brutalized the Predators.

And then there’s Junhyeong. Figure it’s only fitting that he’d have to face San, considering he and she both were pawns of Pet Shop at one point, though admittedly he served willingly and she was forced via Gayeon’s parasite. His confession and guilt may’ve been long overdue to be addressed, but it’s good to see it finally happening, and more importantly that such an outburst helped him to start doing something beyond just biting or shooting venomous hair in combat, he’s been lacking in terms of power and speed for a long while now.

I suppose that’s it for now, wish I’d seen this before heading in for work, but better late than never I suppose. Hope life’s treating y’all well and that you’re in good health and spirits.
