So it was as expected, he did revert to the nymph stage of development. Gigantea’s plating is still there, but given how degraded it was in his subconscious I doubt it’ll last much longer. On the plus side, if that is the case, that means he is no longer food trained and can potentially be cured by Cinderella again if shit hits the fan. On the downside, it also means of course that he’s lost access to Blackout and all his combined moves and armoring if so, which’d be a fairly large loss to both his offense and defense.
Good to see Kang is grounded for good now in a rather brutal fashion, Bidan’s last gambit looks like it’ll be ending in failure, especially if his friends arrive soon. Barring something as horrific as Breeder showing up in person, they may’ve finally earned some breathing room after Huijin’s blunder. Come what may, it’s shaping up to be an interesting couple of chapters.
