Funny how certain facts only really hit you later on even though I could’ve figured out as much since the beginning.
Not talking about Chihiro’s mom, but the fact that the swords haven’t even been around for 40 years. Because of how legendary they are, I somehow considered them to be centuries old relics or artefacts. Bringing prosperity in certain historical periods and hardship in others, but nope. They were made, misused and now the next generation wants them destroyed. If only people did a 180° that fast in real life on inventions that have really cost us dearly.
