very long “schizophrenic rant” haha
There’s so much to read. The capacity of the human mind to create drivel, mid, poetic, or legendary content is astounding. There is simply too much to read and I cannot help but burn myself out thinking about it. What if I am merely being tricked into reading something that will slowly turn my mind into mush? To condition me to being a mega-simp? To give into that snake-like voracity for evil and corruption? Well, I said I would drop it here at Chapter 70, mayhaps I will be back… but there are other things to read, and I cannot help but think we all were brainwashed into reading this by the fetish/erotic appeals of the “plot”. Of course I am reading too much into it. There is a wholesomeness to it, yes, but we can’t just ignore a whole arc of where fetishes were grated like cheese in a cheese grater (“the beach episode”, a commonly used trope). Not knowing when this will happen again, and looking over my own judgements even now, I cannot help but think they are absurd, much like the story. “Turn your brain off.” What? My brain is melting, it’s long past turning off. There needs to be a brain to turn off to begin with! It has always been an appeal, aesthetics and erotic desire in humans. After all, it is the base part of our brain, the midbrain, that controls arousal. All these social functions are the parts that wrap around it, basically — but don’t quote me on that, ehm. A full schizophrenic rant in a comments section of an erotic novel…
Pfft. I always enjoyed reading through comments sections at the end, so perhaps I gave you something to read. Though, even I can’t help but turn my eye away at something that’s too long. Enjoy what you enjoy, brothers and sisters, but stay lawful and stay sane. It’s a hard ask in a world full of characters who have candles on their birthday cake less than eightteen being made into a subject of fantasies, but do stay humble.
Have a Blessed Day… whatever that may be.
