“what doesn’t kill you makes you stronger” has one of the most misused quotes

i got explosive diarrhea yesterday, didn’t kill me, didn’t make me stronger either, just a lot of pain sweat and suffering

if you cut your muscles like that, only thing that’s gonna happen is you’ll develop scar tissue and possibly have permanent pain and restricted motion in that limb. Muscles are built through micro-tears through workout, micro being the key word. And there’s no need to discover a new muscle drug to hasten muscle recovery, it already exists, it’s called creatine.

what kinda medical science did this guy study to come to these weird conclusions about how muscles work

“why do care about logic in a story?” I mostly don’t unless the character goes “scientifically speaking” and then proceeds to yap to make the most absurd claims
