Ten years after the fall and they’re still using makeshift weapons? Why haven’t they raided military bases, police stations, museums, etc. for better weapons and armor?
This book has promise. One of the first 18+ rated books that have an interesting story.

Fun fact:
1% of today’s population (8,231,613,070) is 8,231,613! Which is considerably more than the world population when Yehoshua (English spelling: Jesus) was around.
Edit: I double checked. I was wrong. Year 1 had 170 million to 330 million estimated. 7000 BCE had between 7 million and 8 million. Still humanity was thriving. Compared to what was before, at least.
I wonder how many monsters drowned. And how many got the bends.
