I have a theory. You think that maybe every time a monster dies its soul is chattered and then reformed, so that maybe if a particular big fragment survived and then was grafted into the soul it would remember a little or at least have a very strong emotion.
Idk why but I was rooting for the Minotaur. Kinda sick of the cliche MC fighting for their oh so prideful reasons or tragic backstory. I want another bad guy MC story
