This is actually incorrect. He betrayed Qin, then fled to Yan, where no one knew what happened to him. He just vanished.
In the original, Kanki fled to Yan after losing, so yeah not much following the original story
they make riboku too much plot armor, its gotten boring

kanki won this and is greater then riboku ever was 1st he was outnumbered then he got out of that situation and somehow this guy reboku sivied a sword in his head 3 times like come on plus 6 moths of planning
