This is expected you know theres this citizen where they love their own country so much that they will rather go suicide than serve another ruler or go under another country especially those wife that soldiers died imagine ur husband fight to death outside then you soon realize its hopeless to the point you need to surrender to survive those wives inside shintei is probably breaking down and they just want to end it completely.

This whole thing is rather stressful. It feels like disaster is still somewhere in the air. Nei and her father will have to live with the responsability of having changed History. The problem is that they can’t be certain it was for the best. You can’t just save and reload to test the alternative, as in a RPG. A royal family who unilateraly decides the end of the country, to end their line… with no guarantee that it will bring the results hoped. Only two persons deciding the fate of millions without more to base their decision than their beliefs in what is right. What a responsability.
