So, Ribuko vs Shin/Karyo, Muten, Rikusen, Kyokay, etc etc,
Ok, Ribuko is a monster yes, but come on he is more plot armor than the MC this is completely ridiculous, and the grand General Ousen who haven’t moove since the beginning of this war
If I remember someone says in the comments chapters ago that according to history Rebuko won’t die on the battlefield but on killed on the Royal court because the king went mad and Shin will die on this war and won’t see the unification of China but that’s according to history.
ngl i have to say this. Of course it’s Riboku. You might as well say that Riboku knows the future of this war cause wtf is this.
He not only perfectly calculates that Shin and Kyoukai will breakthrough and attack Kantan but he also has enough time and space to gather an army powerful enough to destroy this army at full strength. We all know that Shin has 10k troops and Shin, Kyoukai should have 5k-10k troops as well.
So that means Riboku should’ve accurately calculated how many troops Shin and Kyoukai would have with them by the time they reach Kantan such that he brings more troops to counter them. I’m saying this because Riboku himself is on the frontline. He won’t be unless he’s 100% certain that he’ll win. That’s what any strategist does.
Goddam the author can’t stop glazing Riboku for one goddam chapter.

Riboku was literally crucial on every battlefront to turn the tide or equalize the position again. Now he’s come all the way to Kantan to deal with Shin (and Kyoukai), no doubt making us believe again this was once again all part of the plan. But is it really? Without Riboku to bail them out the Qin armies on the other battlefronts should be able to eliminate their opponents.
Even in the hypothetical where Shin isn’t an MC and his army gets utterly decimated, Riboku will have to pray his armies on the other battlefields somehow held out without him, when they were already struggling with him there to course correct.
And now the Zhao King teleports in front of Riboku with his asscheeks on full display and starts slapping Riboku’s horse into throwing Riboku off his back and proceeds to slap Riboku’s cheeks and pull him back into Kantan by his hair. The end!

But this was not the move Riboku… letting them reach the capital is a FAILURE in the eyes of the court and king.
