Ok, as usual, I’ll say this. I love this manga. It’s insane. The emotions you feel are true and it’s fun. But the single biggest thing i hate the most is the sheer amount of plot armor Riboku has.
He not only had not slept for days, which already is beyond human exhaustion, but according to most scientific articles, his mental capacity should’ve been drained by now to the point where he makes the silliest of mistakes.
I know this is just a manhwa where a single teenager like shin can throw around more than 5 huge soldiers with a single swing, but those can actually somewhat be explained. Human reflexes. We tend to dodge anything that might be scary or fatal. So if a person is trying to push you and you try to dodge it by moving backwards, then you’ll actually travel much farther than the person has strength to push. It’s just the momentum. Same way it’s easier to explain people flying from Shin’s swings than this nonsense.
And Riboku should’ve died infinitely many times by now. His stupid plot armor is too thick.
Now I’m willing to bet that Shin is gonna be the only person in the army to survive and everyone else, including TEN dies. Unless Ou Sen somehow predicted this entire thing and somehow saves Shin, which most likely isn’t happening, Everyone will die or get captured.
Now I’m not sure how much more suffering Shin can endure. So many deaths, a past trauma, and his love/best friend is about to die or even worse, get captured and tortured. It’s just sick to think about. This series did well until now but no. Riboku shouldn’t have been able to do this and have this much shit ton of plot armor.

Really can’t take Shin seriously as the MC and I’m so sick of the Ribuko glazing it’s honestly turning me off this amazing book
ah…this feeling…I missed it.
There’s one thing that’s good about all of this. It makes Xin’s eventual loss against Chu (iirc?!) believable.
If the Hi Shin-unit stomped on everyone even when outnumbered or outwitted from beginning to end, it would go over horrible if he gets onesidedly beaten by some random Chu army.
But there’s always been this lingering sense of uncertainty. They can perform remarkably well, but at other times they’re painfully amateuristic.
And this, once again, is such a moment where you’re reminded about the level of incompetence the Hi-Shin unit is capable of. Ou Hon’s & Mouten’s armies have always felt much more stable and solid in their performance.
What Shin is going through now is not that different from what Ou Hon was going through a few chapters back. He stayed calm, trusted his lieutenants to make good decision’s by themselves and made a bold decision. From the Hi-Shin unit, in contrast, we get a visibly distraught Karyo Ten tearing up from a sense of hopelesness and all the other characters equally acting aghast at what’s unfolding. Like they hadn’t even considered or accepted that death is a realistic fate as a consequence of all this warring.
I know the author does this to make us ’empathize’ and feel for these characters, but after almost 900 chapters this just makes them look like they never really evolved passed their ‘rookie days’ of scrambling for survival.
where is the plot armor 
I hope Ozai all anticipated this and makes a move too

they either find a gap on riboku’s side like they did in the past with ouki or punch through that opened gate ,either way both are too much of risk but compare to just staying there they’ll just get massacre

Never rly liked Ten, but this time she rly put them all in the tomb
time for the arrival of Mou ten and saving the bacon of kairo ten while simultaneously taking katan.
I say that but i know ill be cheering like a mad dog when i read it in the next few chapters xD
