Why do a lot of TL’s make such liberal use of the term “son-in-law” for just any ol’ male position in the family, when these things mean something very specific?? -_-
I’ll reread for a bit to refresh my memory of this title. but at the least, I don’t recall Stella having a daughter for Istolfa to marry. If she was going to take on the role of a mother-figure, that would make Istolfa her adopted son, or even just “son” would be acceptable.
Chapter 27, lines of dialogue showed Stella teasing Kyle that he didn’t understand a woman’s heart while she was taking Istolfa out to chat alone. Implication she might have been considering him as a romantic partner? If so, then the son-in-law thing is even MORE way off.
Sorry for the rant, but misused titles bother me when it can be something important to keep story and character relationships straight. Misuse just makes things more confusing and harder to follow.
I feel like it could have been more finished but I’ll give it a 7/10
